Program

Turn quality from a hidden cost into competitive advantage. One program — three moves that compound — with your own people trained to carry it on.

Diagnose → Build → Capture value

01
Gap Assessment
See clearly where you stand — and what it is costing you today.
02
Action Plan
Build the processes and the people that make change stick.
03
Cost Improvement
Drive product cost down across all processes — with or without a quality problem.
Once the plan is set, cost reduction and digitalisation run in parallel — each cycle resets the baseline higher
01
Axis One · Gap Assessment

Start with the truth,
not assumptions

Together with your leadership we run a company-level Gap and SWOT analysis — covering business performance and product cost as two independent lenses. We surface the structural, organisational and cultural factors that quietly drive — or block — both. One honest picture before you spend a euro on change.

The method

A diagnostic that looks where both value and cost leak out of the business.

Gap & SWOT analysis

Strategic strengths, weaknesses and blind spots — objectively mapped with your leadership.

Business process assessment

Whether your core processes deliver on performance and cost simultaneously.

Hidden-factor assessment

The culture and behaviours — the human system — that shapes real outcomes.

Lean & digital maturity

Where waste, missing data and process gaps slow you down and inflate cost.

What you leave with

1

Maturity baseline

Where you stand today — objectively scored, not guessed.

2

Prioritised findings

Risks and opportunities ranked by euro impact, not by effort.

3

Strategic direction

The shortest path from today to a value-driven operating system.

02
Axis Two · Action Plan

Seven workstreams that turn
insight into action

Not a report to file away. We turn the diagnosis into a plan with clear owners and KPIs — built around seven workstreams that address both performance and cost as one integrated agenda.

1Critical-to-business processes+

The core processes that keep launches, changes and complaints from turning into crises. Defined, deployed and owned — not just documented.

APQP

Launches that go right the first time.

MOC

Changes that never introduce new risk.

PPAP / ISIR / FAI

Production signed off before it starts.

CCM

Complaints resolved fast — and prevented next time.

ERM

Risk priced in before you commit to a contract.

Supplier Approval

Partners who meet your standards, not just your price.

2Short-term risk management+

Contain today's risks before they reach the customer. Rapid response protocols, risk prioritisation and cross-functional ownership — so crises are contained fast and root causes addressed, not just symptoms.

  • Immediate containmentStop the leak before it becomes a recall.
  • Risk prioritisationRanked by probability and customer impact — focus where it counts.
  • Structured escalationClear ownership and decision rights, no firefighting blur.
3Quality management system+

A QMS that supports the business — not just satisfies the auditor. We build or strengthen the system and accompany the certification journey across the main frameworks.

  • ISO 9001 · IATF 16949 · AS9100 · IRIS · VDA6Full certification support and gap-to-compliance roadmapping.
  • ISO 14001 · 45001 · 50001EHS and sustainability management systems.
  • Audit portfolioInternal, supplier and process audits — designed around your risk landscape.
4Competence development+

Processes only last if your people own them. We close capability gaps with hands-on, coaching-led development across two domains — and tailor executive coaching for senior leadership roles.

Q Quality
  • Critical-to-quality processes (APQP, MOC, CCM)
  • Quality management systems & ISO standards
  • Auditing: internal, supplier, process
  • Risk management & FMEA facilitation
  • Problem solving, MSA & SPC
Six Sigma
  • DMAIC — Green Belt & Black Belt
  • Design for Six Sigma (DfSS)
  • Reliability engineering & testing
  • Robust design & Design of Experiments
  • Statistical modelling & tolerancing
5Problem solving & continuous improvement+

Structured methodologies deployed across the organisation to stop recurring problems and embed a culture of continuous improvement — not occasional firefighting.

  • Zero Defect programsCulture and tools to prevent defects at source.
  • DMAIC methodologyData-driven problem solving embedded in operations.
  • Six Sigma deploymentBuilding internal capability — Green and Black Belts in your team.
  • Lean practicesWaste elimination and flow improvement across the value chain.
6Digitalisation+

Once the plan is set, we digitalize your core business processes — turning manual quality work and scattered data into connected, real-time workflows. See the full digital stack →

  • Connected processesOne flow from enquiry to delivery — not disconnected tools.
  • Real-time quality dataSingle-source metrics for faster, better decisions.
  • AI integrationAutomate checks, reporting, and anomaly detection.
7Operational support+

Hands-on help to keep momentum during implementation. We co-resource alongside your team — present in the operations, not just in the boardroom — to embed the change and transfer capability permanently.

  • On-site presenceSenior practitioners embedded with your team, not just visiting.
  • Momentum managementStructured check-ins, gate reviews, and course corrections.
  • Capability transferThe objective is your independence — not our dependency.
03
Axis Three · Cost Improvement Program

A stand-alone engine
for product cost

The Cost Improvement Program is activatable even without a performance problem. It covers product cost across all business processes — with CoNQ as one of its diagnostic instruments, converting quality losses into improvement targets.

CIP — The Engine

A structured program covering product cost across all processes. Run by a co-located, cross-functional team with a mandate to act — fuelled by competitor benchmarking and supplier workshops.

CoNQ — One of its tools

The Cost of Non-Quality measures the financial weight of quality failures — complaints, scrap and rework — and converts them into prioritised improvement targets inside the CIP.

Three levers — and the question each answers

No. 1

Product specifications

"Do my products have the right features?"

Prioritise what customers truly value — and stop paying for what they don't. Using the House of Quality and customer value mapping to align specifications with willingness to pay.

No. 2

Sourcing & price

"Am I buying at the right price?"

Clean-sheet target costing, part by part. Fuelled by supplier workshops, benchmarking and should-cost analysis — identifying the delta between current price and achievable price.

No. 3

Technical solutions

"Is there a lower-cost design?"

Teardown-driven redesign of product and process, informed by competitor benchmarking and Robust Design. Design for Six Sigma to build quality in — so you don't inspect it in at cost.

How it works in practice

A co-located, cross-functional team

Engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, sales and quality — working to shared stretch targets under one roof. Not a task-force that meets once a month.

Clear top-management commitment

Quick decisions, resources allocated, barriers removed. The program needs a sponsor with authority — we help you structure that commitment from day one.

Dedicated resources & gate reviews

Around two FTE, a shared budget and structured gate reviews. Savings are not claimed until implemented — the gate process keeps the program honest.

The typical prize
3–10%

of product cost — identified in detail and taken through to implementation within 12 months, with your own CIP experts trained in each product line.

"Not a cost-reduction exercise run in isolation — a structural change to how you think about and engineer cost into every product decision."

How We Engage

A clear path, from first look
to lasting change

Scaled to your size and ambition — we co-resource alongside your team. We do not replace it. Each phase has defined deliverables and exit criteria.

Phase 1

Diagnose

Typically 4–6 weeks

A gap assessment and a quantified baseline of where you stand — business performance and product cost, independently assessed.

Phase 2

Design

Typically 4–8 weeks

A prioritised action plan with clear owners, leading KPIs and a resource plan. Board-ready from day one.

Phase 3

Deliver

Typically 6–12 months

Implementation alongside your teams — capability transferred, not rented. The objective is your independence.

Where to start

See both prizes
before you commit

A short Business Performance scan: 2–3 weeks. Quality losses and product-cost opportunities, both quantified in euros, and a board-ready recommendation on where to act first.
